Scroll down a bit to choose from the available prepaid and postpaid plans.

Someone will ask you to generate your porting code (UPC) by sending an SMS message with the text “port”, then send your 10-digit mobile number from your mobile to 1900. You must provide the code you received to the Vi executive. The executive will ask you to show your address and proof of identity to complete the porting process before handing over the new SIM. However, in the case of intra-circle porting the new SIM may take up to 48 hours to activate or in the case of inter-circle porting it may take up to four days. If you are in Jammu and Kashmir, Assam or North East Service Area, this process can take up to 15 working days.
How to port your mobile number to Vi postpaid
The same MNP webpage that allows you to port your current network to Vi Prepaid can be accessed to switch to its postpaid connection. However, there are some variations that we describe below.
- Visit Vi webpage And enter your mobile number and zip code there.
- Scroll down to choose from the available postpaid plans.
- Select the appropriate plan and click on it Get planned The button below your preferred plan is available.
- Now, press Complete your order Button. This will refresh the webpage.
- The new page will ask you to provide your address and full name. This will be used to provide a new SIM connection.
- When done, click Get OTP Button.
- A pop-up window will now appear on the screen to enter the four-digit OTP you received on your current mobile number.
- Enter OTP to begin delivery of your new SIM connection.
