Furthermore, all Airtel Thanks app benefits given to postpaid customers are also lost with the switch. Customers must be on Airtel postpaid for more than 30 days to qualify to switch to prepaid. At the store, you can ask a customer service representative to assist you in this process. They will ask you to fill out the postpaid prepaid migration form. Fill in all the required details on the form and submit it to the representative.
After submitting the form, the representative will inform you about the arrears to be paid. This includes the final bill and the amount generated on a pro-rata basis. If you have not already cleared your dues, please pay your dues at Airtel Sore.
After all arrears have been paid and the form has been submitted, a request will be made by the representative to convert to prepaid.
An OTP will be sent to your number, and after you give that OTP to the representative and verification is complete, you will receive an SMS to your phone stating that you have received a postpaid request for a prepaid shift request.
For prepaid it takes about two hours to activate this change. Airtel customers will need to recharge the FRC in-store.
Upon completion of the shift to prepaid, customers can recharge their prepaid SIM through the Airtel Thanks app or other third party apps such as Paytm or Freecharge with their preferred plan.
