The Huawei Mate 40E is identified in the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) database, sporting the model number OCE-AN00 and showing the smartphone from all sides. The smartphone was verified by Tena, which revealed key specifications. Huawei’s Mate 40 series was announced a few months ago and includes editions of Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro + and Mate 40 RS Porsche. Huawei has also released the Mate 30E Pro.
The TENAA list of the OCE-AN00 or Huawei Mate 40E shows a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2,57×1,090 pixels. It also comes in 6GB, 8GB, and 128GB RAM variants and 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage options.
The Huawei Mate 40E is also listed as having a 2.86GHz processor, which indicates that it can be powered by the Huawei Mate 40E Kirin 900E 5G, as its name implies.
This smartphone has a 50 megapixel primary sensor and a 16 megapixel and 8 megapixel sensor. It has a front 13 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The Huawei Mate 40E packs a 4,100mAh battery (and the WPC list ensures wireless charging) and runs on Android 10 according to the TENAA listing. The Mate 40 also comes with a display fingerprint scanner. Huawei has not yet revealed when the smartphone will launch or its future availability.
